Being there, following the events as part of everyday life, is a completely different experience than watching the results from the outside. This is where it truly becomes clear how much work, attention, and consistency stand behind a good round.
Casallandia PS
Casallandia PS and Roland Kovács already showed at the beginning of the week what kind of form they had arrived in: on two consecutive days, in the CSI3* 135 cm classes, they won two competitions. These victories were not only about speed or preparation, but also about composure and stability, which are essential at this level.
At the prize-giving, when the Hungarian national anthem was played, it was a moment that is hard to get used to. Hearing it abroad, in a strong international field – knowing that it is not by chance, but the result of a long process – gives the whole story a completely different weight.
But the week did not stop there.
In the CSI3* 140 cm class, on the third day, a course requiring particularly great strength awaited the field. Wide, tall oxers, long lines – the type of challenge where every small detail matters, and where physical condition is at least as decisive as technique.
Casallandia completed the course with one rail down, but what truly mattered was the way she went all the way through. She set off with full concentration, great power, serious stamina, and determination, and the quality of the jumps did not fall apart even at the end of the course, nor did she show the kind of fatigue that often appears on the third day after such effort.
In fact, she moved with the same lightness and energy as before. According to our information, even the day after the 140 cm class, during flatwork, she was still exceptionally fresh, clearly showing that despite the serious workload, there were no signs of stiffness, fatigue, or muscle soreness.

This is the point where the quality of the work done in the background truly becomes visible. Not only in the horses’ flawless, radiant appearance, but also in their performance – in what a professional rider can feel.
And this is exactly what could be experienced up close in Arezzo.
Not only in the arena, but behind the scenes as well. The continuous supervision of the horses, the kind of attention and care that allows no compromises. The same level of precision and consistency every single day, regardless of whether it’s a competition day or a rest day – special credit goes to Viki, the groom, who carries out her work around the horses tirelessly.
Messandro KRH
In the case of young horses, preparation may be even more important than for an experienced competition horse, as a new environment and high workload can truly test their condition. Messandro KRH competed in his first international competition, entering the Bronze Tour 120 cm two-phase class with Roland Kovács.
The pair delivered a clear two-phase round, which is a particularly valuable result for a young horse in a field of this level. Throughout, the horse worked with excellent quality, an even canter, good reactions, and balanced jumping.
At this stage, mental focus is key – the support of Neurovia helped ensure that the horse remained focused and rideable even in a new environment, able to channel its energy into the work.
Over the weekend, Messandro also delivered a balanced and strong performance, finishing all three rounds with only a single rail down.

Messindra AA also achieved several placings in the Bronze Tour classes, in highly competitive fields of over 90 starters, despite still being young and in full development.
It is a great joy for us to be part of this process, and this is exactly the kind of experience that truly makes this week valuable.
Because results matter – but seeing what stands behind them matters even more.
Roland Kovács’s riding in this environment deserves special recognition. Throughout, you could feel the calmness and awareness with which he approached the courses – a level of control that stands strong even at international level.
The week in Arezzo was therefore not just about victories.
It was about what it looks like when a system works. When horses are physically and mentally prepared. When the work behind the scenes truly shows in the arena.
Sincere recognition to everyone who is able to maintain this level day after day with such quality.
