The weekend was outstanding in numbers as well: we saw more than 800 starts in total, clearly demonstrating the size of the field and the strong interest in the start of the season.
New footing, stable arena conditions
A special highlight of the competition was that the main indoor arena received new footing, which performed excellently throughout the entire weekend. Despite the heavy use, it remained consistently even, stable, and safe, creating ideal conditions both for early-season indoor work and for the higher-level classes.
Meglio fences and spectacular jumps
In the arena, horses tackled the Meglio Horse fence, uniquely featuring their own horse, Amigo Miot (shown in the opening image). Since Amigo joined us, he has been fed exclusively Meglio products alongside forage, and for us it is important feedback that his condition, appearance, and overall health reflect this consistent feeding program.
On Sunday, the fence appeared as a triple bar on the course and clearly became one of the most spectacular elements of the weekend. It was here that we saw the highest-arched, most photogenic jumps, perfectly reflecting the dynamics of the indoor competition.
Prize-giving on all three days – with targeted Meglio prizes
Throughout the three-day competition, prize-givings were held on all three days, and in the Meglio classes, riders received Meglio prizes during the award ceremonies.
The prize packages were thoughtfully assembled, specifically tailored to the early-season workload:
-
Muscle Fusion, which provides ideal support for conditioning, muscle work, and regeneration ahead of the open season,
-
Neurovia, which, with its combination of magnesium and B and E vitamins, offers important supplementation during competition workload,
-
Skin&Coat Omega, as it was already clearly visible that many horses were experiencing rug rubs at this time of year, which are worth addressing with targeted support as early as possible.
Meglio Champions Tour: qualifications and stakes
The weekend was of outstanding importance from the perspective of the Meglio Champions Tour as well: several rider-and-horse combinations completed the three required rounds, thereby qualifying for the final, where participants will compete for a prize fund increased by half a million forints.
The highest class of the weekend, at 140 cm, was won by Zsuzsa Csontos riding Quanaro Blue PS, delivering a confident and well-balanced performance.

Strong start to the indoor season
The first indoor competition of the year at the National Riding Hall delivered a strong field, an excellent course, and an atmosphere filled with continuous excitement, while the Meglio Champions Tour also began its journey for the year.
The series continues in three weeks’ time, again at the same venue, with the final round before the championship final, where the battle for places in the final will intensify even further.
