We Honoured the Champions: Age-Group Dressage Championships 2026
In early June, Máriakálnok hosted the Hungarian Age-Group Dressage Championships, where the country's most promising young dressage riders competed against one another. The championship is one of the highlights of the national equestrian calendar, providing a stage for the next generation of athletes who have the potential to represent Hungarian equestrian sport at both national and international level.
Supporting young talent is especially important to Meglio Horse. We believe that a successful competitive career does not begin at major championships, but years earlier through daily training, continuous learning, and the development of the right mindset.
Dressage is a sport of precision, patience, and harmonious partnership between horse and rider. From an early age, it is essential that riders not only develop their technical skills but also gain an understanding of the biological and physiological needs of horses. Proper nutrition, recovery, hydration, respiratory health, and digestive support are all factors that have a direct impact on a horse's performance and well-being in the long term.
At Meglio Horse, the horse has always been at the heart of our philosophy. We are convinced that true success is built on a healthy, well-managed, and properly nourished equine athlete. That is why we believe it is important for the younger generation to understand the value of responsible horse care and nutrition from an early stage.
We would also like to thank the organisers for the opportunity to be a sponsor, and congratulate every competitor, placed rider, coach, and horse owner on their achievements over the weekend.
Our support does not end in Máriakálnok. Soon, you will also find Meglio Horse vouchers at the Hungarian National Dressage Championships in Pilisjászfalu. We hope this initiative will further contribute to the motivation and development of young riders. The Hungarian National Dressage Championships will take place in Pilisjászfalu from 19–21 June 2026.
Because we believe the future of equestrian sport is in the hands of today's young riders—and we are proud to support them every step of the way!
We would also like to extend our special congratulations to Bíborka Nedaluha-Mervald, who was in outstanding form throughout the weekend, delivering one excellent test after another and collecting an impressive array of trophies. Her horses have been prepared for competition with Meglio Horse products for years, making these achievements even more rewarding for us to celebrate.
Congratulations on these fantastic results!
