Our horses' basic feed is roughage, the fluctuating quality of which can pose a challenge for horse owners. For sensitive, picky individuals, animals with dental problems, weakened elderly animals, or in case of allergies and asthma, meadow hay pellets offer a realistic alternative to supplement or replace hay. The nutritional value of 1 kg of hay pellets is roughly equivalent to 1 kg of meadow hay.
It does not contain any binders; the fresh meadow hay harvested is ground, steamed, and then pelleted under high pressure, creating an easily feedable, transportable, and storable roughage alternative. It is an excellent source of fiber with a pleasant, fresh scent.
Guaranteed content (per kg):
Dosage: For supplementing roughage, 1-2 kg/day/horse depending on individual taste and needs, for fully replacing daily roughage, 5-7 kg/day/horse.
Note: Soak in plenty of water for at least 3-5 hours before feeding. Soaking time can be reduced with hot water soaking. Do not feed dry!
Storage: Store in a dry, cool place.
